Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Askito (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of the Service

Askito is a document sharing platform that enables organizations to share content with an AI-powered chat assistant. The Service includes document hosting, viewer identity collection, AI chat, and analytics.

Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all content uploaded to and shared through your account.
• You must not upload content that you do not have the right to share.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service for other users.
• Use the AI assistant to generate misleading, harmful, or fraudulent content.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Askito. By uploading content, you grant Askito a limited license to host, process, and serve that content as necessary to provide the Service (including AI analysis and search indexing).

Viewer data

If you share documents that collect viewer information (name, email, chat messages), you are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis for that collection and for handling the data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. AI-generated content

The AI assistant provides responses based on uploaded documents. Responses may contain inaccuracies. Askito does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You should not rely on AI responses as professional, legal, or financial advice.

Service availability

Askito is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Askito shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your uploaded content and associated viewer data will be deleted.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
